Celebrate Life’s precious events at St Michael and St Mary

Both churches in the parish are popular for weddings. All who live in the parish, and many who don’t but have a qualifying connection, may be married in St Michael’s or St Mary’s. We would be delighted to welcome you here, and to guide you through the process. We are always delighted to meet people who wish to have children Christened (another word for Baptism) at St Michael’s or St Mary’s. The best thing to do is simply to come to a service in church on a Sunday morning – the main service is usually at 9.30am, and there is also a shorter service at 8am – and introduce yourself in person, or again email the parish administrator, Georgie or Jonny the vicar, using the contact email addresses below. Most christenings happen in the 9.30 on Sunday mornings.

All are welcome to have a Church of England funeral, either in church or at a crematorium, and the clergy team would be delighted to work with you to create a service that reflects your loved one’s wishes.
